Dhruv Sharma is an Associate in the Commercial Litigation section of the firm's Irvine office. Dhruv primarily represents banking and other financial institutions in consumer financial services litigation in state and federal court. He also defends creditors’ rights in bankruptcy proceedings, represents businesses in contractual disputes and general commercial litigation, and provides advice and representation on immigration matters. Dhruv’s general litigation experience includes a recent matter for a major retail chain that involved defending against a commercial misappropriation of likeness claim.
Dhruv currently serves as a contributor to the CAFA Law Blog (www.cafalawblog.com), which covers updates and cases relating to the Class Action Fairness Act of 2005. He is also a frequent lecturer on matters impacting the consumer finance industry.
In addition to his commercial litigation practice, Dhruv recently taught a class in Civil Procedure as an Adjunct Professor at Chapman University’s Fowler School of Law.
