Jay has served on the Board of the Local YMCA and has coached children’s athletics for a number of years including t-ball, baseball, soccer, running, cross country, and most recently has been coaching girls basketball teams grades 3-6.

Outside the Office

In his spare time, Jay likes to read military history, focusing on the Korean War. He is an avid triathlete having completed two Ironman races and numerous Olympic and sprint distance triathlons – qualifying for a national championship and finishing second in the state championships for his age group twice. Jay enjoys the outdoors and encourages others to participate as well.
