McGlinchey Stafford proudly announces that Richik Sarkar, Member and Chief Privacy Officer, has been named to Lawyers of Color’s first “Nation’s Best” list. Richik was honored at a reception for the Midwest Region on June 18 in Chicago.
A member of the firm’s Diversity Committee and chair of its Asian Affinity Group, Richik is heavily involved in the legal and local communities. He has been recognized as a Fellow by the Leadership Council for Legal Diversity, is a Past President of the South Asian Bar Association of Ohio, and is Administrative Director of the American Bar Association - Business Law Section’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee. He is also past Vice President of the Cuyahoga County Community Improvement Corporation, a 2015 class member of “Leadership Cleveland,” and serves on numerous board and advisory committees dedicated to education, the arts, and economic development. Richik practices in McGlinchey Stafford’s Cleveland office.

The inaugural “Nation’s Best” recognition honors senior-level attorneys with ten or more years of experience, who demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion in the legal community. Lawyers of Color is a 501(c)(3) devoted to promoting diversity in the legal profession and advancing democracy and equality in marginalized communities.
